Service Description

There’s nothing quite like the feeling of descending into Sac Actun. Officially, it’s the largest underground river system in the world—but when you’re floating through its crystal-clear waters, surrounded by thousands of years of dramatic rock formations, it simply feels like pure magic. Because you travel privately with us, we don’t rush you through the caverns like large tour groups do. Your guide will be right there with you, sharing incredible stories about why these flooded caves were so sacred to the ancient Maya, pointing out the most impressive stalactites, and making sure you feel completely safe and comfortable every step of the way. After exploring the underworld, we head back into the sunshine to visit Cenote Xunan Ha—one of our favorite hidden gems. It’s a beautiful open-air cenote, tucked deep in the jungle, filled with turquoise water that feels like a natural swimming pool. It’s incredibly peaceful here. Put on your snorkel mask to swim with small freshwater fish, jump from the diving platform if you’re feeling adventurous, or simply float on your back and gaze up at the jungle canopy.
